Our Modified shell mold (MSM) foundry is capable of supplying grey or ductile iron parts for automotive engine , steering, small engines , compressor , high pressure valves & pumps etc…..
I believe few foundries in China would/could supply raw castings to overseas ( because they could not guarantee porosity and other casting defect under 1% for most type of parts) , so we can help customers to source raw castings successfully in China if they want to do machining in their own shop.
The precision and most complex castings can be developed such as multiple (5 )layers & channels hydraulic valve, hydraulic pump or hydraulic motor housing, engine cylinder block etc.
MSM is also good at porosity free high strength parts such as camshaft, crankshaft.
Advantages of MSM
Better dimensional tolerance than traditional casting such as Disamatic line, shell mold parts.
Higher yield rate with good casting density (most products’ porosity/visible pin hole rate was found less than 1%)
Less draft angle: Normal production requires 0.5 degree, that help customer to reduce machining allowance.
No riser required, smaller gate than traditional casting, that saves energy and material.
More smooth casting surface by silica resin sand.
